So Fresh & So Clean

So Fresh & So Clean

Last night we went to Bakersfield. We were 2 1/2 hours away from Nell. And it was terrifying.

Even though I knew that my parents and my in-laws were just minutes away, I was so sad to leave her. The entire way to the show we talked about Nell. And just as we were walking into the theater I got a text from my Aunt Karen. She sent me these photos.

She sat with her for an hour and read stories to her.

I was told that she was bright-eyed the entire time. She loved every second of it!

It was so reassuring to know that even though Bryan and I weren’t close there were other people that would make sure she wasn’t alone. And now I feel so much better about taking a might for just us. I don’t know that I would go so far away again, but we had a great time and I’m so glad we did it.

To make up for last night I spent quite a bit of time with her today.

We had some new visitors. I’ll be posting about some of those tomorrow.

And tonight we did bath time again! She cried a little bit but enjoyed it for the most part.

Then she got comfy laying with daddy while she eats. We are so blessed to have such a perfect little baby.

– she’s down to about 25% oxygen. This is our biggest hurdle. Pretty much everything relies on her breathing on her own. Please pray for this.

– she’s up to 1955g which translates to 4lbs 5oz! Just about 300g shy of 5lbs.
