I normally wait until we’ve visited Nellie-Anne in the evening before I update. That way we have all the information we’ll get for one day.
But today I am updating a little earlier than normal. And depending on what happens tonight I may do another.
I’ll start with a photo of our girl because she’s so pretty.
Is there a more perfect little girl on this earth? I might be biased but I don’t think so. (:
The update from the doctor was so good I want to cry.
– Her chest x-ray is the clearest it’s been in about a week.
– her blood gas is still good
– she’ll only be on the antibiotics for another week
– her platelet count is increasing all by itself! This means no transfusions.
Now, here’s a fun little game before I tell you the rest of the good news. Can you spot the difference in these photos?
If you guessed that there is a machine missing, you are absolutely correct!
Our girl is off the nitric oxide completely! They have turned it off and removed the machine from her room.
This is the best news we have had since she got sick. We are over the moon about this.
We want you all to know that this would not have been possible without all your prayers. You guys, they’ve been answered! They’ve been answered over and over…and over!
That said, we still ask for your continued prayers. Our sweet girl is getting better every single day, but she still has a long road ahead of her.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for all you have done for our family!
